VISION STATEMENT
Every student will learn to think like a statistician and find
Nutrition 209/309 to be among the most valuable and enjoyable courses ever
taken.
MISSION STATEMENT
Every student who takes Nutrition 209/309
- will gain the statistical skills necessary to be productive in
the fields of nutrition science and policy,
- will gain the
analytical skills needed to read and produce technical reports
and to read and contribute to the published literature,
- will understand the basic principles of study design and techniques
of data analysis, and
- will gain the ability to
- identify the types of analyses needed to
answer specific research questions,
- to perform the analyses by using
standard statistical program packages, and
- to interpret the results of
the analyses.
Attainments of a Teacher
People think that a Sheikh should show miracles
